There is no such thing as a “poor child.” Every child is born with equal rights, dignity, and potential. While some children are born into economically disadvantaged families, their right to education, care, and a secure childhood remains universal.
Guided by this belief, Children’s Heaven operates across 11 districts throughout Bangladesh, working to ensure free primary education and the protection of basic rights for children from underprivileged families. All educational and operational expenses are fully funded by the organization itself.
In Jamalpur, Children’s Heaven runs its activities from a rented facility, where one male and one female teacher have been appointed to provide free primary education to children from disadvantaged households—ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. On 7 April 2023, Children’s Heaven Jamalpur organized an Eid essentials distribution program for 100 children under its care. The initiative aimed to bring joy, dignity, and a sense of inclusion to children during the festive occasion of Eid.
I felt truly honored to be present at this meaningful initiative and to witness the organization’s long-term commitment to child welfare, education, and social development. My sincere gratitude goes to Md. Abidur Rahman Chand, the key driving force behind the Jamalpur district branch, for allowing me to be part of such a purposeful program.
Standing beside this mission—always, Insha’Allah.
