Reflecting on my journey today as a Brand Executive
Beyond the Classroom: Building a Personal Brand
During my HSC years in Dhaka, I didn't just stick to the Business Studies wing
As our final classes concluded and the exams loomed, my friends decided to turn my birthday into an unofficial, grand farewell.
The Celebration at Jahangirnagar University
We gathered in the scenic, open spaces of Jahangirnagar University, Savar. What started at 10:00 AM felt like a whirlwind of affection:
A Sea of Gifts: Every group brought something special—personalized gifts, handwritten notes, and massive bouquets of flowers.
The "Celebrity" Moment: I remember the constant requests for photos and the cake-cutting ceremony. For those few hours, the bond we shared felt stronger than ever.
Bittersweet Reality: Despite the joy, there was a quiet realization that this was our last major gathering before we all headed our separate ways toward university and professional lives.
The Fragility of Memories
I lived near Dhamrai Bazar at the time, and the haul of gifts was so massive that I needed a friend’s help just to get them home. Even with all our caution, I discovered two broken wall frames upon unwrapping them. It was a small heartbreak, but in hindsight, it felt like a metaphor: while physical objects may break, the impact of that day remains intact in my heart. From Student Life to Brand Executive
Life moved fast after that. I completed my BBA in Marketing
While time and distance have made it harder to stay in touch with everyone, the lessons I learned that day—about leadership, empathy, and building a community—stay with me in every campaign I design today.
