Beyond Business: Strategic Partnership at the Pitha Utshab

Just one month after the grand launch of Khuluku, I knew that to stay relevant in the local market, we needed to go where the people were. In January 2022, a unique opportunity arrived with the local Pitha Utshab (Rice Cake Festival), and I decided to take a collaborative approach to branding.

The Concept: Growth Through Collaboration

Instead of a solo presence, Khuluku joined forces as a co-sponsor with Junaid Foods & Burger House. This wasn't just about placing a logo; it was about integrating our brand into the community's lifestyle and supporting fellow local entrepreneurs.

Campaign Execution

  • Visual Identity: I designed and developed the complete branding for the stall, including banners and promotional materials that highlighted both Khuluku's creative services and Junaid Foods' delicious offerings.
  • Active Engagement: We didn't just stand behind a desk. We engaged directly with visitors, sharing the story of Khuluku while they enjoyed local delicacies.
  • 360° Visibility: By sponsoring the event, we maintained high visibility among a diverse audience, from food enthusiasts to local influencers.

The Strategic Win

This activation taught me a vital lesson in marketing: Strategic partnerships amplify your reach. By collaborating with a food brand, Khuluku was able to:

  1. Access a new demographic of potential SME clients.

  2. Build a reputation as a community-focused brand.
  3. Establish long-term trust with other local business owners.

Looking back, these early BTL (Below-the-Line) activities were the building blocks of the 1,000+ campaigns I have led to date
. It’s a reminder that even the smallest stall can tell a big brand story if the strategy is right.
